Mango rolls with braised beef


A tasty recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: meat, oil, onion (chopped), garlic (finely chopped), skimmed beef patties (in dice), ginger powder, tamarind paste (pot a 225 g), sambal oelek, santen (coconut cream, packet of 200 g), mangoes and sweet soy sauce.

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a frying pan with a thick bottom and fry the onion and the garlic until they turn light brown.
  2. Spoon the meat and fry for about 2 minutes, on a high heat, until it looks brown all around.
  3. Spoon the ginger powder, tamarind and sambal into the pan and fry briefly.
  4. Pour 300 ml of lukewarm water.
  5. Bring the pot roast to the boil and add the coconut cream.
  6. Let it melt and stir well.
  7. Allow to simmer slowly in a low heat for 2 hours with the lid tilted on the pan.
  8. Season the beef stew with salt and pepper.
  9. Peel the mangoes and cut the pulp lengthwise along the wick in long slices.
  10. Put a spoonful of stew on each slice of mango and roll up the mango slices.
  11. Secure with a cocktail stick and serve..
