Remove the stalk and seeds from the bell pepper and cut the flesh into cubes.

Bring the water to a boil in a pan and dissolve the bouillon tablets. Turn down the heat and stir in the saffron. Keep the broth warm.

Chop the onion and finely chop the garlic. Cut the chicken into small cubes.

Heat the oil in a frying pan. Fry the onion and garlic 1 min. Add the chicken and cook for 1 min.

Spoon the diced peppers and the rice. Fry the whole, stirring for another 2 minutes. Add the tomatoes and scoop the whole well.

Pour so much warm stock that the rice is just below. Let the rice cook uncovered for 15 minutes on low heat.

Mix the peas with the rice and simmer for 10 minutes. Add some extra broth if the rice becomes too dry.

Mix the shrimps 2 minutes before the end of the cooking time. Season the paella with lemon juice, pepper and salt. Yummy! .
