Marinated cod in Moroccan style

A nice Moroccan recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, flour, cumin, cod fillet (in pieces of 2), olive oil, red pepper, lemon (squeezed), fresh coriander (chopped) and garlic (pressed).

Directions

  1. Mix in a bowl the flour with the cumin and 1 tsp salt and pepper.
  2. Put in the pieces of fish, so that they are covered with flour.
  3. Heat in a frying pan with non-stick coating 3 tbsp oil and fry the fish on a medium heat for 5-8 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Turn over the fish.
  5. Cut a piece to check the doneness: the meat has to fall apart and the shine must have disappeared.
  6. Let the fried fish drain on kitchen paper.
  7. Cut the pepper open, remove the seeds and shred the pepper.
  8. Make a marinade from the rest of the oil with the lemon juice, coriander, garlic and chaff.
  9. Spoon the marinade in a bowl with the fried fish and marinate the fish covered in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  10. Serve chilled..
