Mashed potatoes with steak and broccoli

Remove the steak from the refrigerator.

Cook the potatoes in water with salt for about 20 minutes. Drain and steam dry briefly.

Stamp them, squeeze them into a puree cutter or rub through a sieve. Add the warm milk little by little.

Stir in the butter with a ladle into an airy puree. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

Cook the broccoli florets al dente in 5-6 minutes.

Sprinkle the steak with salt and pepper. Heat the butter and fry the meat for 2-3 minutes per side.

Remove the steak from the pan, add the stock and mustard to the shortening and stir well.

Serve the mashed potatoes with the broccoli, steak and mustard gravy.
