Meatball with potatoes and green beans


A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, milk, white bread (without crust), minced beef, semi-minced (organic), egg, grovemosterd, nutmeg (grated), salted butter, crumbled potatoes, green beans and smoked low-fat bacon cubes (duopak 250 g).

Directions

  1. Pour the milk into a bowl and place the bread in it.
  2. Mix the ground beef with the half-to-half mince and the egg.
  3. Squeeze out the bread and mix it through.
  4. Add the mustard and nutmeg, and salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Knead well.
  6. Turn 4 balls with wet hands.
  7. Heat the butter in a frying pan.
  8. If the butter does not foam, add the meatballs and roast them over medium heat in 5 minutes.
  9. Turn the heat down and roast the meatballs for 20 minutes until done, with the lid slanted on the pan.
  10. Turn them regularly.
  11. Meanwhile, peel the potatoes.
  12. Boil them in water with salt in 20 minutes until done.
  13. Remove the stalk from the beans and cook in 8 min.
  14. Until al dente.
  15. Bake the bacon for 5 minutes in a non-stick pan.
  16. Mix through the cooked beans.
  17. Put the potatoes, the beans and the meatballs on 4 plates and pour some of the frying liquid from the potatoes..
