Meatball with red cabbage
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, minced meat (half-to-half), egg, breadcrumbs (packet of 150 g), butter, red cabbage, apple juice, cloves, potato wedges (600 g and deep-freeze).
Mix the mince with the egg and breadcrumbs and season generously with salt and pepper. Shape 4 balls with damp hands. Heat 30 g of butter in a frying pan and fry the meatballs in brown for 3 min. Cook over low heat for 20 minutes. Times regularly.
In the meantime, remove the outer leaves of the cabbage. Halve lengthwise and cut out the white stump at the bottom. Cut the coals into thin strips. Cook with apple juice and cloves for 15 minutes on low heat. Season with salt.
In the meantime, heat 30 g of butter in a frying pan and fry the potato wedges in 12 min. Until golden brown. Serve the meatballs with the red cabbage and potato wedges. Nice with mustard.
