Meatballs with apricots and pistachios


A tasty recipe. The lunch contains the following ingredients: meat, ground beef, garlic, dried apricots, unsalted pistachio nuts (peeled (55 g)), ground cumin (djinten), olive oil, shoarma breads, rucola salad (a 75 g) and fresh mint (coarsely chopped (bag a 15 g) single).

Directions

  1. Grind the minced meat in a food processor with the garlic, the apricots, the pistachios and the cumin.
  2. Season with salt and (freshly ground) pepper.
  3. Turn the meat mixture into balls the size of walnuts.
  4. Heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the meatballs in 8 minutes until tender and brown.
  5. Turn them regularly.
  6. Roast the shawarma rolls in the toaster until golden brown.
  7. Cut them open and fill them with some leaves of lettuce, fresh mint and the meatballs.
  8. Delicious with houmous, a dip of chickpeas..
