Clean the celery and cut it into slanted pieces. Peel and halve the onion and cut into thin parts. Remove the parts.

Peel the garlic and cut into slices. Ris the leaves of the sprigs of thyme.

Heat the wokkentot which is piping hot. Drain the oil over the bottom of the pan.

Fry the celery and onion, stirring for about 2 minutes. Add the garlic and thyme and stir-fry the whole for about 2 minutes.

Drain the tomato cubes and put them in the wok. Heat the vegetable mixture for another 5-10 minutes until the celery is al dente.

Season with pepper and possibly some salt.
