Melon with ginger mascarone
A tasty recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: stem ginger (pot), mascarpone, ginger syrup (from pot stem ginger) and galia melon.

Finely chop the gingerballs. In a bowl, dissolve the mascarpone with 2 tablespoons of ginger syrup and mix in the ginger. Cut the melon into 8 parts and remove the seeds. Keep the melon and the mascarpone mixture covered in the refrigerator.

Brush the cut surface of the melon with ginger syrup. Place the melon parts on the cutting edge on a greased grill or grill topper over medium hot fire. Grill the slices for about 1 minute per side, until the melon gets light brown stripes. Put 2 melon parts on each plate and scoop some of the ginger mascarpone next to it. Drizzle the rest of the ginger syrup over it.
