Ingredients
Directions
-
Cut 6 slices of raw ham in half lengthwise and keep them separate. Cut the rest of the ham into pieces. Cut the chives finely. Mix in a bowl the mince with grated cheese, chopped ham, egg, breadcrumbs, chives and some pepper. Knead everything well into an even, slightly sticky mixture.
-
Divide the minced meat mixture into two equal portions for each person and form into rolls of 3 cm thick. Wrap each chopped roll in a slice of raw ham. Leave the rolls for a short while so that the ham sticks to the minced meat.
-
Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the chopped rolls in 12 minutes around brown and cooked. Add the water after 5 minutes and let it evaporate to a nice gravy during baking. Serve the mince rolls with stir-fried endive and rice or gnocchi.
