Mustard leaf with chicory, strawberries and bacon
A tasty Dutch recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: meat, bacon strips, chicory, strawberries, white wine vinegar, olive oil (extra virgin), mustard and salad mix (with mustard leaf (100 g)).

Bake the bacon strips in a frying pan gently brown and crispy.

Let them drain on kitchen paper.

Remove the leaves of chicory and cut into large pieces.

Wash the strawberries, halve them and remove the crowns.

Beat in a bowl a dressing of the vinegar, olive oil and mustard.

Stir in some of the bacon fat and season the dressing with salt and pepper.

Spoon the lettuce of melange, chicory, strawberries and bacon strips through the dressing.
