Orange jam
A tasty recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: orange (cleaned), lime (cleaned), eggs (whipped), fine granulated sugar and butter (in very small blocks).

Grate half of the zest of the orange and lime as finely as possible and squeeze out the fruits.

Bring water to a boil in a large pan, turn the heat down and hang a smaller pan or bowl with a capacity of at least 1 liter.

The bottom of the pan / bowl must not touch that of the pan with water.

Mix the eggs with the sugar and citrus zest for 2 minutes until the whole has a lighter color.

Pour in the citrus juice and mix for 30 seconds.

Add the butter and transfer it to the smaller pan or bowl in the hot water bath.

Continue mixing for 10 minutes until a smooth, creamy cream is formed.

Sift the jam through a fine sieve and pour it into a jam jar.
