Cook the penne al dente according to the instructions on the package.

Clean the lemon and grate the yellow skin of the lemon. Squeeze out half of the lemon.

Bring the cream with the lemon zest gently to the boil and season the lemon sauce with the lemon juice, (freshly ground) salt and pepper.

Spoon the lemon sauce through the warm pasta and sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese.
