Pasta dish with asparagus and ham
Dish of asparagus, farfalle, onion, cherry tomatoes and shoulder ham.

Peel the asparagus all around with a peeler from just below the cup and remove the woody ends. Cut them into 3-4 cm pieces.

Bring plenty of water to the boil and cook the asparagus pieces for 10 minutes. Cook the pasta al dente according to the instructions on the package.

Drain the asparagus and collect the cooking liquid. Prepare the asparagus sauce according to the instructions on the package with 200 ml of cooking water from the asparagus. Chop the onion. Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the onion until golden brown.

Halve the cherry tomatoes. Cut the ham into pieces. Add the asparagus sauce, the cherry tomatoes, the asparagus and the ham and simmer for 3 minutes on low heat. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Drain the pasta and scoop it through the vegetable mixture. Serve immediately.
