Ingredients
Directions
-
Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Spread the slices of puff pastry and let them thaw. Meanwhile grind the almonds into a fine flour in the food processor. Finely chop the salami. In a bowl, mix ground beef with paprika, cinnamon, salt, freshly ground pepper, ground almonds, salami and egg. Knead everything very well into an even, slightly sticky mixture.
-
Place the slices of puff pastry on the work surface next to each other to form a long rectangle, let the pieces overlap by 1 cm, press the seams tightly. Divide the minced meat mixture in the middle into a long sausage of approx. 4 cm diameter, leave 5 cm on the short sides.
-
Fold the long sides of the dough over the minced meat and shape the whole into a long roll. Moisten the dough with a little water and press the edges together well. Also close the ends of the roll well.
-
Carefully place the roll - if possible with 2 people - in the shape of an S with the seam down on the baking tray. Brush the top with milk. Bake the pastry letter in the middle of the oven in 25-35 minutes until golden brown and done. Leave the pastry letter out of the oven for 10 minutes and then cut the roll into pieces.
