Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package. Add the sprouts after 5 minutes.

Slice the onion into wedges and the garlic. Fry the onions in the oil for 3 minutes and add the garlic for the last minute.

Add the pasta sauce and bring the sauce to the boil while stirring. Mix the cheese strips with the basil.

Divide the penne with sprouts over the plates. Spoon the tomato sauce over it, divide the cheese strips with basil and sprinkle some pepper over it.
