Daddy cool's fried chicken
A tasty american recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: poultry, chicken fillet (in strips 2 cm wide), curry powder, buttermilk, green beans (cleaned), extra fine garden peas (450 g, frozen), sunflower oil (1 t extra), flour, mashed potatoes with butter (450 g, department fresh meals) and shallots (in thin slices).

Mix the chicken with the curry powder in a bowl. Pour in buttermilk and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Bring a pot of water to the boil and add the green beans. Bring back to the boil and add the peas after 5 minutes. Drain after 2 minutes. Drain. Heat 500 ml of oil in a high pan to 180 ºC. Let the chicken drain. Put the flour in a deep plate and roll the chicken through it. Fry the chicken in 2 to 3 portions in 5 min. Golden brown and done. Keep warm on a plate under aluminum foil.

Prepare the purée according to the instructions on the package for 5 minutes in the microwave at 750 watts. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a frying pan and fry the shallots for 2 min. Scoop the vegetables, pepper and salt through. Serve everything in bowls, possibly with wedges of lemon.
