Directions

  1. Cut the onions into wedges. Cut the carrot into very small cubes. Cut the zucchini into cubes. Cut the pepper into thin strips. Cut the ham into broad strips. Crumble the biscuits.
  2. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Grease the oven dish. Boil the penne in plenty of boiling water with salt in 10-12 minutes until al dente. In the meantime, heat two thirds of the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the onion and carrot for 2 minutes. Scoop the zucchini and paprika through and fry for 2 minutes. Add a tablespoon of pasta cooking liquid and fry the vegetables covered in a gentle 2-3 minutes.
  3. Drain the pasta and stir in the vegetables with the moisture, ham and half of the grated cheese through them. Put this mixture in the baking dish and smooth the top.
  4. Crumble the biscuits over a deep plate and stir in the rest of the grated cheese. Sprinkle this mixture over the pasta dish and drizzle with the rest of the olive oil. Bake the pasta dish in the oven for 25 minutes until golden brown.
