Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Boil the penne in a pan with plenty of boiling water with salt in 10-12 minutes until al dente.

Slice onion coarse. Fry the soup balls in a frying pan with olive oil. Fry the onion for 2 minutes. Then pour the tomato cubes with juice, Italian herbs, some salt and freshly ground black pepper. Add a ladle of the pasta cooker and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

Put the kale in a sieve and pour generous boiling water until the kale has completely shrunk. Let it drain well.

Drain the pasta and stir in the meatballs with sauce and kale. Divide this mixture into the baking dish and sprinkle the cheese over it. Bake the dish in the oven in 20-25 minutes until golden brown and done.
