Penne with paprika, salmon and basil

Directions

  1. Cut the peppers into quarters, remove the seeds and cut the quarters widthwise into thin strips.
  2. Cut the garlic into slices.
  3. Spoon the pepper strips in a skillet with the slices of garlic, Italian herbs, some salt and freshly ground pepper and olive oil.
  4. Smother the paprika covered in 20 minutes until soft, then scoop occasionally.
  5. Add any water and water if it goes too fast.
  6. Boil the penne in a pan with plenty of boiling water with salt in 10-12 minutes until al dente.
  7. Remove the skin from the salmon and cut the fillets into pieces.
  8. Spoon the pieces of salmon into the bell pepper and let the salmon cook just in 3-4 minutes.
  9. Drain the penne and scoop the pasta through the pepper mixture, add salt and pepper to taste if necessary.
  10. Spread the pasta over warm deep plates and sprinkle the basil over it.
  11. Or let the pasta cool down to lukewarm or cold and serve as a salad.
