Preheat the oven to 200ºC.

Sprinkle the pieces of apple from which the cores are removed with powdered sugar and cinnamon powder.

Stir in apple and pineapple.

Put the flour in a bowl of a food processor.

Add the blocks of butter and press the pulse button several times.

The flower mixture mixture should resemble coarse bread crumbs.

Use the fingertips of both hands instead of a machine to mix flour and butter.

Put the mixture in a bowl and work the sugar through it with a fork.

Spread a round refractory dish thinly with butter.

Place the apple and pineapple pieces in the dish.

Spread the dough crumbs over the fruit.

Bake this crumble for about 25 minutes in the oven until the top is golden brown and crispy. Serve warm or lukewarm.
