Pineapple roach
A delicious indonesian recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: limes, light brown caster sugar, sweet soy sauce, red pepper (in rings), pineapple, apples ((Granny Smith), scrubbed) and cucumber.

Squeeze the limes. Make in a bowl a dipping sauce of half the juice, the sugar, ketjapmarinadeen red pepper. Cut the bottom and crown of the pineapple and cut off the peel. Cut lengthwise into 4 parts. Remove the hard core with a knife. Cut the flesh into slices.

Remove the core of the apples with the apple drill. Cut into parts. Drizzle with the rest of the lime juice. Cut the cucumber into 1/2 cm sloping slices. Place the apple, cucumber and pineapple on a flat dish. Put the sauce and serve. Delicious with rendang, nasi herbs and green beans in coconut milk.
