Poached plaice fillet with herb dressing


Plaice fillet with a dressing of mint, basil and white wine vinegar.

Directions

  1. Remove the leaves of the basil and the fresh mint and cut finely. Mix with vinegar and oil in a bowl.
  2. Squeeze the garlic on top and beat until a dressing. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Prepare the mashed potatoes in the microwave according to the instructions on the packaging.
  4. Meanwhile, bring the water, bouillon tablet and white wine to a boil in a frying pan and turn down the heat.
  5. Put the plaice fillets in and poach against the boil in 5 minutes until tender. Meanwhile, cook the snow peas in 4 minutes.
  6. Divide the snow peas with the mashed potatoes over the plates. Carefully remove the plaice with a slotted spoon and place on the snow peas.
  7. Drizzle with the herb dressing and serve.
