Poffertjes with date sauce
A tasty Dutch recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: butter, brown caster sugar, dates (very finely chopped), poffertjes (traditional (36 pieces)) and fresh mint (box a 15 g).

Melt the butter and bring it to the boil with the sugar and 100 ml of water.

Spoon the finely chopped dates and let it simmer for another 10 minutes.

Heat the small pancakes according to the instructions on the package and divide them over 4 dishes.

Cut the leaves of the fresh mint into thin strips.

Pour the date sauce over the warm little pancakes and sprinkle with the chopped mint..
