Directions

  1. Peel the pears with a peeler. Halve them in the length and remove the core. Put the sugar with the water in a pan. Chop the chocolate coarsely.
  2. Bring to a boil and let the sugar roast. Place the pears in the sugar syrup and simmer for 5 minutes. Spoon the pears on a plate and let cool.
  3. In the meantime, heat the whipped cream in a saucepan to just below the boiling point. Remove the pan from the heat and let the chocolate melt in the warm cream.
  4. Stir in the chocolate sauce with a whisk. Divide the poached pears over the plates and add a roll of roll vanilla ice cream.
  5. Pour the warm chocolate sauce over it and serve immediately.
