Provençal pasta salad
French pasta salad with wholemeal penne, Provencal lean bacon strips, garden peas, cucumber, onion and cheese cubes.

Cook the penne according to the instructions on the package.

Heat the oil in a frying pan. Fry the bacon strips in 3 min. Until crispy.

Squeeze out the lemon and add it. Stir the cakes with a spatula.

Take the pan with the bacon dressing from the fire. Allow to cool down and pour into a lockable jar to take away.

Thaw the garden peas in a colander under warm running water and drain well.

Drain the penne in a colander and rinse under cold running water.

Chop the onion finely. Cut the cucumber into half slices.

Mix the penne in a bowl with the garden peas, cucumber, onion and cheese cubes.

Spoon the bacon dressing just before serving and season with salt and pepper.
