Bring a pot of water and bouillon tablets to the boil. Chop the onion. Peel and grate the ginger.

Heat the oil in a soup pot and fry the onion, ginger, red cabbage and cinnamon on a medium heat for 3 minutes.

Add the stock and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, put the white beans in a colander, rinse and drain. Add with the beet to the stock and boil for 5 minutes.

Season with pepper and salt.

Meanwhile, heat the oil in a frying pan and cook the cod in 8 minutes until done. Turn halfway.

Season to taste with chili flakes and salt. Serve the soup in bowls and spread the cod over it.
