Preheat the oven grill. Cut the tomatoes once and place them on the baking sheet with the cut surface.

Cut the peppers in four and then into square pieces and lay them with the skin upwards near the tomatoes.

Sprinkle the vegetables with salt and pepper and sprinkle with 3 tablespoons of oil. Roast the vegetables just under the grill in about 5 minutes or until the peppers turn slightly light.

This can go very quickly; so always stay with it and leave the oven door ajar.

Remove the vegetables from the oven and let them cool slightly.

Meanwhile, bake the beef strips on high stand in a tablespoon of oil and fry the pepper and garlic for the last minute. Scoop the strips through the vegetables and serve immediately.
