Ris a la mande (Danish rice pudding)
A tasty recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: dessert rice (pack a 400 g), milk, vanilla pod (cut open), almonds (peeled (55 g)), whipped cream, sugar and extra jam cherry (pot a 370 g).

Bring 100 ml water to the boil and sprinkle the rice, boil for 1 minute.

Then pour the milk with the sliced vanilla pod and cook on low heat for 30 minutes.

Let it cool.

Finely chop the almonds, but keep 1 almond whole.

Beat the cream with the sugar until stiff.

Stir the finely chopped and whole almond with the whipped cream through the cooled rice pudding, transfer to a nice bowl.

Heat the cherry jam and serve it at the ris a la mande..
