Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Mix the oil with the shawarma spices or paprika powder.

Cut the bread rolls open longitudinally and cut the halves in four. Brush them with the herbal oil. Put them with the oil side up on a baking sheet and roast them in the middle of the oven in approx. 10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

In the meantime, pour the chickpeas, rinse cold water and let them drain well.

Peel the clove of garlic. Puree the peas with garlic, mayonnaise, coriander, cumin, chili powder and pepper and salt into a thick paste.

Divide the hummus over the pit points. Place this on a dish with the lemon cut into wedges.
