Roasted spicy cauliflower with mashed potatoes and feta

Preheat the oven to 200ºC.

Cook the potatoes in water with salt. In the meantime, remove the leaves from the cauliflower. Cut the cauliflower into thick slices and place them on the baking sheet.

Grind all spices with the salt in a mortar into a fine powder. Mix this with the oil and brush both sides of the cauliflower with it.

Roast the cauliflower in the center of the oven in about 20 minutes until tender and brown.

Drain the potatoes and crush them with the butter and milk. Stir in the thyme and half of the feta and season with pepper.

Crumble the rest of the feta over the mash and serve with the roasted cauliflower.
