Rosé chicken with peas


Rosé chicken drumsticks with chestnut mushrooms, onion, peas and fresh thyme

Directions

  1. Sprinkle the chicken drumsticks with pepper and salt. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken drumsticks around brown. Remove them from the pan on a plate.
  2. Cut the mushrooms and onion. Fry the mushrooms in the shortening on medium heat until golden brown. Remove them from the pan on a different plate.
  3. Fry onion, bacon and thyme for 4 minutes in the cooking fat. Pour the rosé into the pan and bring the wine to a boil. Put the chicken drumsticks back in the pan. Put the lid on the pan and fry the chicken drumsticks for 20 minutes.
  4. Add the peas and fried mushrooms and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  5. Season the dish with pepper and salt. Serve it in a nice bowl or spread it over deep plates. Delicious with mashed potatoes.
