Sambal Goreng Telor With Toemis Beans

Directions

  1. Heat for the sambal goreng telor 2 tablespoons of oil and fry the cooked eggs until a light brown skin is formed. Remove them from the pan and set aside.
  2. Heat the rest of the oil and fry the onion, garlic and sambal oelek.
  3. Add bay leaves, ginger, sugar and coconut milk and bring the sauce to the boil while stirring.
  4. Remove the bay leaves. Add the eggs, possibly halved, and remove the dish from the heat source.
  5. In the meantime, heat the sunflower oil for the toemis beans and fry the onion and garlic for 3 minutes.
  6. Add the beans, ginger powder, ketjapmarinademanis, sambal oelek and 150 ml water and boil the beans in about 12 minutes until al dente.
  7. Sprinkle the sambal goreng telor with the fried onions and serve with the toemis beans.
  8. Delicious with white rice.
