Spread the slices of bread with butter and cut the slices into 4 triangles. The more triangles, the larger the tree.

Start with the bottom layer and place the slices of bread next to each other with the point upwards on a large flat dish. Sprinkle the slices with different types of (Christmas) sprinkles.

Place a next row of slices of bread (gradually 1 piece less than the previous row) on top of each other and sprinkle with sprinkles. Continue until you have a whole tree that tapers upwards. Finish with a star at the top.
