Rub the onion, garlic, ketoebar and djinten finely into a mortar or mash them in the food processor.

Add the soy sauce, the salt and the oil and stir into a marinade.

Place the meat cubes for at least 15 minutes. Soak the skewers in water for a while to prevent burning while roasting.

Thread the meat on the sticks. Keep the marinade.
