Directions

  1. Peel the apples and cut into segments.
  2. Peel the potatoes and cut them into pieces.
  3. Squeeze out the sauerkraut and boil with the potatoes and a little salt in approx. 25 min. Until done.
  4. In the meantime, prepare the smoked sausage according to the instructions on the packaging.
  5. Bake the slices of bacon until crispy and remove them from the pan.
  6. Put the margarine in the pan and fry the apple slices in 2-3 min. Brown.
  7. Drain the potatoes and sauerkraut and stamp them with the milk and creme fraiche into a coarse, creamy stew.
  8. Finally, put the apple wedges through it and season the stew to taste with salt and pepper.
  9. Spoon the stew into deep, warm plates.
  10. Cut the smoked sausage into slices and spread with the bacon over the stew.
