Directions

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut into equal pieces. Boil them in water with salt in 20 minutes until done.
  2. After 10 minutes, heat the sauerkraut 10 minutes with water on low heat. Drain in a colander.
  3. Cut the smoked sausage into cubes of 1 cm.
  4. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the sausage in 5 min.
  5. Heat the milk with the butter in a saucepan.
  6. Drain the potatoes and puree them with a puree cutter or grind them.
  7. Mix the warm milk and sauerkraut through the potatoes. Sprinkle the stew with the smoked sausage croutons.
