Directions

  1. Boil the potatoes with salt in 20 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, boil the sauerkraut with a dash of water for 20 minutes.
  3. Melt half of the butter and fry the bacon cubes.
  4. Drain the potatoes, pour in the milk, add the rest of the butter and stamp into a smooth puree.
  5. Drain the sauerkraut and scoop it with the bacon through the puree.
  6. Heat the stew for a while - well stirring - and add salt and pepper to taste.
