Peel and wash potatoes and cut into pieces. Boil in water with salt for about 20 minutes. Cut meat into cubes of 2 cm. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a frying pan and brown in approx. 8 minutes.

Drain sauerkraut. Peel and chop onion and scoop through meat and cook for approx. 2 minutes. Spoon mashed potatoes, sauerkraut, paprika, salt and pepper with meat mixture and simmer for about 10 minutes.

Drain potatoes and crush nicely. Stir in the remaining butter and milk to create a smooth puree. Season the puree and sauerkraut with salt and pepper. Divide puree and sauerkraut over four plates.
