Sauerkraut with lamb sausages


A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, potatoes (solid, peeled), butter, lamb (chipolata sausage), onions (in rings), fresh thyme, cinnamon stick (in pieces), sauerkraut and dry white wine.

Directions

  1. Cut the potatoes into pieces and boil them in salted water for about 20 minutes.
  2. Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the lamb sausages around brown. Remove them from the pan on a plate. Fry the onions in the shortening for 3 minutes. Add the sprigs of thyme with the pieces of cinnamon and the sauerkraut and fry the vegetables for 1 minute.
  3. Pour the wine into the pan and bring everything to the boil. Put the lid on the pan and simmer the sauerkraut gently for 15 minutes.
  4. Let the potatoes drain in a colander. Spoon the potatoes through the sauerkraut and place the sausages on them. Put the lid back on the pan and simmer the sauerkraut for another 10 minutes. Divide the dish with the sausages over 4 plates.
