Savory bacon-broccoli pancakes


Pancakes with spelled flour, cauliflower rice, bacon and apple syrup.

Directions

  1. Beat the egg through the milk and add the spelled flour, baking powder and the salt. Mix until smooth. Add the broccoli rice and stir through the batter.
  2. Heat a frying pan with non-stick coating without oil or butter. Cut a slice of bacon in half and spread over the frying pan. Bake for 1 min on medium heat.
  3. Turn the slices and shovel a piece of batter of approx. 10 cm on each slice of bacon. Fry the pancakes in 4 min. Until golden brown and done. Turn halfway.
  4. Repeat with the rest of the bacon and the batter. Serve the pancakes with the apple syrup.
