Ingredients
Directions
-
Preheat the oven to 225 ° C. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
-
Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl.
-
Add the vanilla sugar and sugar. Cut the butter with 2 knives through the flour.
-
Beat the egg with the milk. Store ½ tbsp of the egg-milk mixture before coating and add the rest to the flour mixture.
-
Knead into a cohesive dough.
-
Roll out the dough into a piece of 1.5 cm thick.
-
Put 8 rounds out of the dough with the cutout or with the help of a glass and place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
-
Brush with the retained egg-milk mixture. Fry the scones in the middle of the oven for about 10 minutes until lightly browned and done.
-
Let the scones from the oven cool down on a grid for 10 minutes.
-
Meanwhile, whisk the whipped cream.
-
Serve the scones with the jam and whipped cream. Bon appétit! .
