Semolina pudding with red fruit


A tasty Dutch recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: garnish almonds (55 g), vanilla pod, whole milk, sugar, semolina (pack a 500 g), strawberries, vanilla sugar, currants (a 500 g bowl) and raspberries (150 g).

Directions

  1. Grind the almonds in a food processor. Cut vanilla pod in length and scrape out with knife marrow. Milk with vanilla bean and marinate to the boil. Add sugar, almond and semolina. Mixture on low heat for 10 min. Gently simmer, stirring frequently. Let the semolina cool down, remove the vanilla pod. Rinse the mold with cold water, pour in semolina powder and leave it covered in refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  2. Clean strawberries, halve and purée in a food processor. Season with sugar. Wash the currants and carefully remove from the sprigs with a fork. In a bowl, carefully sauté raspberries and currants with strawberry puree. Keep the pudding form briefly in warm water, place the cutting board or serving tray on top and turn together. Remove mold and slice pudding (this can also be done at the table). Putting fruit sauce on and on top of it.
