Sheep cheese with cherry compote
A tasty French recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: fresh cherries (or pot), red wine (Droë Rooi), fresh rosemary, sugar, muesli nut bread and hard sheep cheese ((part of Manchego).

If necessary, defrost cherries beforehand. Bring wine, cherries, rosemary and sugar to the boil in a saucepan. Cherries for about 5 minutes on medium heat until sauce becomes slightly syrupy. Allow cherries to cool and remove rosemary.

Toasting bread in toaster. Meanwhile, cut cheese crusts and cut cheese with not too thin slices with a sharp knife. Cut each slice of bread crosswise into 4 triangles. Distribute cherry confiture over four bowls. Place bowls on four plates. Place bread and cheese around it.
