Sirloin steak with jerk sauce and grilled corn

Directions

  1. Spoon the spices, caster sugar, honey, thyme, shallot, garlic, ginger, oil and lime juice in a high mixing cup and puree with a hand blender.
  2. Brush the entrecotes with 1 teaspoon of this jerk sauce and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. Let the meat marinate for about 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the pieces of corn in approx. 5 minutes al dente.

  6. Insert a stick into one end of each piece of corn.
  7. Grill the sirloin steak on the barbecue for 2-3 minutes per side.
  8. Serve the steaks with the corn and extra sauce.
  9. Delicious with pineapple salsa.
