Sirloin steak with jerk sauce and grilled corn

Spoon the spices, caster sugar, honey, thyme, shallot, garlic, ginger, oil and lime juice in a high mixing cup and puree with a hand blender.

Brush the entrecotes with 1 teaspoon of this jerk sauce and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Let the meat marinate for about 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, cook the pieces of corn in approx. 5 minutes al dente.

Insert a stick into one end of each piece of corn.

Grill the sirloin steak on the barbecue for 2-3 minutes per side.

Serve the steaks with the corn and extra sauce.
