Clean the lettuce and cut into rough strips. Halve the apples and remove the core and cut into slices.

Cut the spring onion into rings. Heat the butter in a large frying pan. Fry the potatoes in 10 minutes until done.

Sprinkle flour on a deep plate and mix with salt and pepper. Dab the slippery tongue dry and pull through the flower.

Shake off the excess flour. Heat the butter in another frying pan. Fry the tongue in 6 minutes until done, turn halfway.

Keep the slipper tongue warm. Mix the lettuce with the apple, spring onions and dressing. Serve the slippery tongue with the fried potatoes and salad.
