Directions

  1. Grate the zest of the lemon. Grind the chocolate chip cookies in the food processor.
  2. Add the lemon zest and cream cheese and mix well. Make balls of the biscuit mixture.
  3. For the orange carrots of the snowmen, mix 1 drop of red and 1 drop of the yellow color with the marzipan. Set aside.
  4. Make 10 equal balls from the rest of the marzipan.
  5. Push your thumb into the cookie balls with your thumb, push in the marzipan balls and close again. Put the balls covered in the refrigerator.
  6. Finely chop the white chocolate. Melt the chocolate slowly in a bowl over a pan of boiling water (au-bain marie).
  7. Make sure the chocolate is not too hot; take the bowl out of the pan as soon as the chocolate has melted.
  8. Pass the filled cookie balls through the melted chocolate and place them in two rows on a sheet of baking paper.
  9. Make sure there is just enough chocolate hanging on it that a small puddle is created when you put the ball down. This suggests melting the snowman.
  10. Press the straws carefully into the balls, rotating them all the way, up to the filling. Let them stiffen in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  11. Meanwhile, form mini-carrots of the orange colored marzipan for the noses of the snowmen.
  12. Press it into the chocolate balls. Allow to cool again for 15 minutes in the refrigerator. Make eyelets and a mouth on the snowmen with the chocolate decoration tip.
