Spinach omelette with cheese
A delicious Dutch recipe for spinach omelet with cheese.

Steam the spinach in two portions in about 5 minutes slightly softer but not completely cooked. Squeeze out the spinach as much as possible and chop it roughly.

Mix with the grated cheese and season with salt, pepper and some nutmeg.

Beat the eggs with the crème fraîche and some salt and pepper.

Spoon the spinach through the beaten eggs and mix well.

Heat the baking product in a non-stick frying pan and spoon in the spinach mixture.

Smooth and leave the omelette with a lid on the pan at low setting for 8 to 10 minutes.

Turn the omelet with the lid and bake the other side for a few more minutes. Cut the omelet into points and serve immediately.
