Split pea soup with orange


A tasty Dutch recipe. The vegetarian main course contains the following ingredients: winter carrots, potatoes, oranges, onions, garlic, olive oil, vegetable stock tablets, ground cumin, split peas (pack a 500 g) and yoghurt.

Directions

  1. peel the carrot and potatoes and cut into small cubes.
  2. Peel orange zest and press fruit.
  3. Peel and chop onion and garlic.
  4. Heat 3 tbsp oil in a soup pot.
  5. Pour in carrot, onion, orange peel and garlic for 4 minutes.
  6. Add bouillon tablets, cumin, peas, orange juice and 1 1/2 l of water.
  7. Let it boil and let it cook for about 40 minutes.
  8. Soup over 4 large soup bowls and sprinkle with a dash of olive oil.
  9. Sprinkle the yoghurt over it and sprinkle with a little cumin..
