Spring stew with peas and ham
Stew with garden peas, raw ham and white cheese
Boil the potatoes in plenty of water with salt in 16 min. Until done. Add the peas after 11 minutes and cook for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile cut the ham into pieces. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the ham for 5 minutes on a medium heat.
Slice the garlic finely, add together with the soup vegetable to the ham pieces and cook for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, crush the white cheese.
Drain the potatoes and peas and collect 1 cup of cooking liquid. Mash the potatoes, peas and half of the cooking water.
Scoop the soup vegetables with the ham and half of the cheese through the stew and add any additional cooking liquid. Sprinkle with the rest of the cheese.
